Seriously, though, I see this kind of nonsense even in Beijing. Less of the Full Metal Jacket-inspired bullshit, which I guess is nice… but still, seriously.

On a broader topic, what’s up with hitting on women in general? How shallow is that? Can’t you just have a normal conversation?

I think the even creepier thing is that he prefaced this statement with, “My girlfriend is Japanese, and she really likes noodles.”
